NLP Life Coaching

Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California, the United States in the 1970s. This course enables clients to assess their communication patterns and styles by examining their neuro-logical processes and behavioural patterns learned through experience (programming), and that these can be changed to achieve more specific and satisfying goals in life.

NLP examines how we structure our subjective experience, how we think about our values and beliefs and how we create our emotional states – and how we construct our internal worlds from our experiences and give it meaning. NLP provides us with a theoretical framework, practical tools and techniques to be the very best we can be.

NLP is about creating a resourceful state to facilitate change within ourselves and how to communicate internally and externally more effectively so that we are better able to reach our goals and fulfil our potential.

Bandler and Grinder who developed this model also claim that NLP methodology can "model" the skills of exceptional people, allowing anyone to acquire those skills.

Courses run for 10 months over 10 weekends; 1 weekend per month depending on sufficient numbers. It can also be taught ‘in house’ to groups and organisation.
