Timeline Integration Therapy

What is Timeline therapy? It is a model of therapy that believes we are a collection of memories. For many years psychologists and therapists believed that our past experiences determined who we are and how we behaved. We now know that memories are recorded and stored as we age and that how we interpret them can influence our lives.

Our Timeline is the memory coding of the brain. It is how we encode and store memories. Otherwise, how would we know the difference between a memory and a future dream or goal? In Timeline therapy, we have the opportunity to change these troubling memories in a short time which will in turn impact on a client's personality and quality of life.

Our behaviours are determined by our beliefs and decisions in the past—and whether consciously or unconsciously affect the present. Through Timeline we can access these beliefs and reconfigure, reinterpret, reconstruct them to become a resource in the future.
